The domain of Professional Responsibilities is a domain that allows teachers to develop both in and beyond the classroom.

All of the sub-categories are represented here through these three pictures.

In the two picture gallery (click the picture for an enlarged version), there is

the picture of the calendar  This calandar is generoustly covered with PLC group meetings and parent-teacher conferences andother events.  This calendar is solely for the purpose of tracking all these events so that I do not miss a beat.  The PLC group meetins serve the purpose of reflecting on teaching, being accurate with records, being part of a professional community and being professional in general.  All of these are either discussed, reported on, and worked on through these PLC meetings.  In these meetings it will be either the whole departertment or just the teachers that share a grade level meeting together.  In this way there are many

levels of collaboration and community and professionalism.

The other picture in the gallery is a capture of PowerTeacher.  This system is what Skyview High School, and the whole of the Nampa, Idaho school district uses to keep records.  It serves for keeping attendence, log records for student behavior and positive notes.  It also allows for the tracking of student information, such as schedules, past grades and parent contact information.  This program is efficient and I spent a lot of time in this program so that I could be nearly as efficient in my responsiblities and communications.

I chose to keep this picture (left) out of the gallery because of the documents that go with it.  The mirror explanation document explains the two mirrors and their purpose.  The profile document talks about how I see myself as an assessment giver and teacher.  Both documents and the creation of the mirrors were from a class I took while working toget my certifications.  The mirrors represent a lot of self-evaluation and a lot of growth, both professionally and personally, because of the challenge that I had coming up with the concept.
